CCTV - CAMERAS - DOMES

To prolong the working life of your 12V Dc cameras, use 12vdc power supplies. This seems simple enough, but more often than not, 13.8Vdc power supplies are used to power 12vdc cameras.
12Vdc cameras are generally voltage sensitive. Providing 13.8V will significantly reduce the working life of the camera, or in worst case simply "blow" the camera on power up. Providing voltage other than specified can also void warranty. This is the case with the majority of 12vdc cameras, ours as well as other manufacturers.
The new dual channel 12Vdc Tactical Technologies TPSi power supply provides 12.2 volts output for powering your cameras, whilst also providing 13.8V for charging a battery. The new TPSi dual channel power supplies can now look after your cameras, whilst also providing battery back-up. This also has an added benefit of reducing the load that your UPS needs to carry.
